I have RepeatMasker 4.1.5 with curated Dfam 3.7. I want to check whether RepeatMasker can find specific repeat using curated Dfam. For example, how to check if RepeatMasker can find Anopheles gambiae satellite AgY280 (fasta) in An. gambiae genome using curated Dfam 3.7?

Also I ran RepeatMasker on genomes of Anopheles coluzzii and Anopheles gambiae and had a look at log files. There it is written that taxon A. gambiae has 16 ancestor taxa families and 0 lineage-specific families in database, and taxon A. coluzzii has 16 ancestor taxa families and 492 lineage-specific families in database. I browsed these taxons on Dfam site and it yielded the results a bit different from log files. According to them both A. coluzzii and A. gambiae have 7 TE families in ancestor taxons. Also it was written in the log file that curated Dfam has 19 768 TE families, but Dfam site states that curated Dfam has 19 730 TE families. Why the information is different in log files and on site?
