Looking for dbSNP b144 version vcf
... Hi, I'm trying to get the hg19 build 144 version (May 2015) of dbSNP (as listed [here][1]), in vcf format (`hg19/dbSNP/144_20150605/All_20150605.vcf.gz`). Has anyone kept this version and able to share it? Thank you very much for your help! [1]: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/projects/SNP/build ...

Answer: A: BEDTools coverage is giving empty output when computing coverage of bam vs bed
... Files and command were ok, problem was actually coming from the lack of memory as I was computing locally and not on a cluster. Even the much larger memory capacity of our Galaxy server wasn't enough (bam file was around 12GB). I had to use the `-sorted` option as per the [bedtools documentation][1 ...

Comment: C: BEDTools coverage is giving empty output when computing coverage of bam vs bed
... I've tried a "classic" `bedtools coverage -hist` on our institute's Galaxy instance on the off chance that something might be wrong with my version of bedtools and the output was also an empty file. So without the `grep`. You don't see anything wrong with the structure of the bam or the bed? ...

BEDTools coverage is giving empty output when computing coverage of bam vs bed
... Hi, I have an exome comprised of 21 samples. I'm trying to follow [this][1] in order to plot the coverage of multiple samples in a single plot, using the bed file of the exome capture kit. However I'm stuck at the beginning because I get an empty output / zero bytes file from `bedtools coverage`: ...

Long shot, but does anyone have a Sequencher 5.1 demo version?
... Hey, Kind of a long shot, but we sometimes need to use Sequencher. The lab was using an old demo version which was unlimited timewise, whereas the new demo version is limited to 15 days. The demo features are enough for us. Unfortunately a student decided to update the software, and we lost that pr ...
