Bamtools installation issues

Dear Anyone & Everyone,

I am installing Bamtools 2.18.12.2 in my Mac Mavericks OS. After I make the file, I result in an error

dyld: Library not loaded: /Users/xxxx/Downloads/bamtools-master/lib/libbamtools.2.3.0.dylib
  Referenced from: /usr/local/bin/bamtools
  Reason: image not found
Trace/BPT trap: 5

I have read previous posts which are very similar and tried the following:

export DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH=/Users/xxxx/bamtools-master/lib/bamtools-master/lib/:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/Users/xxxx/bamtools-master/lib/bamtools-master/lib/:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

My path for the library is Users/xxxx/bamtools/lib/libbamtools.2.3.0.dylib.

I have tried others as well, please if you have any ideas, please share. Thank you. I have been on this for the past two days.

Thank you but I got it to work via

export DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH=/Users/yotsukurasohiya/bamtools/lib/:$DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH
