Has Anyone Successfully Used Euler2?

I used the default command line: eubatch.pl -i in.fasta -q in.qual

and got error saying cannot find path-to-euler/euler_et and a couple of other executives in that dir. However when I checked path-to-euler these exact files are right there.

The error message is below:

sh: /home/software/euler2/euler_et: not found
sh: /home/software/euler2/euler_db: not found
sh: /home/software/euler2/euler_cons: not found
sh: /home/software/euler2/euler_cons: not found

I installed euler2 according to the instructions (http://nbcr.sdsc.edu/euler/euler2/README) and modified perl and $pgms::EULERBIN as instructed. Can anyone who has used this assembler give me some suggestions? Thanks!

Do you check existence of these files/folders in /home/software/euler2 folder?

Yes. They are all there.

Yes, they are all there. But even when I run the executives right from the folder it says "No such file or directory".

I ended up re-compiling the problematic files (euler_et, euler_db, euler_cons) and it works fine now. I was using precompiled executives, most of which did work except the three.
