Here's an example of hacking Integrated Genome Browser - from IGB power user Ivory C.

She made this BED file with different colors in the itemRGB field. She put the hexadecimal name for each color in the name field.

(See BED spec at the UCSC Genome Website).

Then she opened it in IGB and took a picture - see below.
