Hi all,
I'm trying to generate an assembly using a strand specific library. Each time I execute abyss-pe with "SS=--SS" option, I get a core dump. Without this option, the assembly process runs without any problems. It's definitely not an issue of RAM, since I'm using a machine with 2TB of memory. The process stops at "Eroding tips" stage and the message in stderr is: make: *** [output.k65-1.fa] abort (core dumped)". Any clue what could be wrong?
