At Healx we're hiring a Full Stack Developer with strong web development experience to join our small but growing team. You'll work on interfaces to our internal databases and tools to provide query, display and visualisation of biological data. You'll also work on a web application we're making publicly available to help patient groups, charities and researchers track and understand new rare disease literature and data.
We're looking for someone with front-end JavaScript expertise and some server side experience, ideally in Python. Knowledge of biological data is a benefit but not essential.

Healx is a start-up based in Cambridge, UK focused on drug repositioning for rare and orphan diseases. We combine in-depth drug repositioning expertise with 'omics data analysis, data mining and machine learning. We engage very closely with rare disease patient groups and charities to try to discover treatments for diseases that often aren't the focus of drug development effort.
