From VCF, create only .tfam file

Hello,

I used VCFtools to convert a large dataset from VCF format to Plink tped and tfam.

Everything worked correctly up to and including the creation of the tped file, however while writing the tfam file an error was raised. I believe this was due to space limitations.

The process was quite time-consuming, so instead of just restarting it, I was wondering whether there is a way to create only the .tfam file.

This VCFtools function is obsolete. plink can directly import VCF files, and does so far more efficiently than VCFtools.
