Hey! Im trying to use Python to write a code that will find hairpin loops in single strand DNA or RNA. Can anyone help me? Many Thanks.

Hahah, i'm not funny at all - check UNAfold. I used it a few years ago to fold ssDNA to detect hairpins (via python subprocess), although there's probably newer stuff out there now... I don't know.
