I'm interested in using Hudson's ms to simulate two subpopulations that diverged from a single population 1 million years ago. This command would be done using "-ej tD 1 2". I was wondering how to translate 1 million years into tD in Hudson's ms?

I've read through several supplementary pdfs of papers and this pdf: http://www.mabs.at/ewing/msms/Manual.pdf

which calculates tD = (# gens since div)/4Ne. Not entirely sure if that's the way to go, but if I est. Ne=50,000 and have 10 generations per year, I estimate tD to be (1,000,000 * 10) / (4*50,000) = 50. Is this the way to do it?
