Hi all, I guess this must be somewhere mentioned but I am quite new to scRNAseq analysis, it would be great if someone can shed me some light on the basic concepts..

Say we have 100 cells, I want to know the expression level of one gene A.

Then the problem is that the expression value of this gene A should be relative to the expression of other genes within the cell right? How can I get or What method do you use to calculate the expression value of this gene in these 100 cells?

Thanks for your patient reading and bear my naiveness.
