Hi everyone,

I am trying to use the LDMAP program to calculate LD-units between all SNPS on each chromosome. I have never used a C program before and I am finding it incredibly confusing. When I try and run my data through the shell script LDMAP it comes up with an error: "line 1: ldmapper1: command not found". Has anyone else had the same problem and could help?

Thanks in advance!

Looks like something went wrong in the installation.

Actually, what I found is that you must invoke ldmapper1 with ./ - that is, ./ldmapper1 ...etc Presumably putting the folder it is in on you PATH would help too.

In particular, it looks like the program has not been built or installed correctly, often C programs are installed using the configure - make - make install workflow. Please refer to the documentation, a README or INSTALL txt file that is contained in the archive.
