Hello everyone! I would like to ask if anyone knows why when I annotate a bacterial genome with RAST, the order of the genes assigned is not correlative. For example, the order jumps from peg.805 to peg.1005. Is not it supposed to be the ordered the numbering of pegs? The order of the genes in the chromosome is correlated according to the position. Thanks!
