Can I use CWL with Amazon's Simple Workflow Service?

Hi Folks, We are evaluating adopting CWL for our workflows such that they are portable and scalable across a variety of software and hardware environments. Does anyone know if I can use CWL with Amazon's Simple Workflow Service? Thank you Lewis

I have never used amazons workflow service, so i can't directly answer your question. There is, however, a number of pipeline frameworks which can run CWL-Workflows and support amazon web services. Toil comes to mind, which should be able to automatically mange your aws-resources and distribute jobs when you feed it your CWL-Workflows. On the CWL-Homepage, many other implementations list AWS under "Platform support" as well.
