i have a fasta sequence of non coding rna.how i can find its homology percentage with other species.also i want to do bioinformatics research work on it .how i will procees i dont have any idea.please help

You can use any of the main sequence alignment algorithms / programs, which have been in bioinformatics for as long as I can remember:
