Which tool will be faster for assembling ~1.5 GB eukaryotic genome with 250X (combined) of paired end and mate pair reads. Also which is the better tool? SOAPdenovo2 or ABySS??
I have used both assemblers, in my case I got better assembly through Abyss assembler
