Query empty when performing psiblast

When I ran standalone PSI-BLAST, it gave me the following message:

Warning:[psiblast] Query is empty!

Warning:[psiblast] Query is empty!

Seems like a pretty clear warning. Either your query is literally empty, or it is in some format not recognized by psiblast. If your file is called query.fas, type:

ls -al query.fas
more query.fas

and check the file size and its contents.
