STAR mapping_unstranded library

I am using STAR to do a two pass mapping for splice junction detection.I will use eQoRT for QC and JunctionSeq for quantification. My libraries are unstranded. From the STAR manual, they suggest to use --outSAMstrandField intronMotif option if using Cufflinks. Does this apply also to my case? Thanks
