I wanted to get an overlap of two ranges 1. gene_ranges and 2. chipseq peak regions so that the final region is going from the most downstream to the most upstream regions. In the image here it would be region starting from the peak_2153 till the end of 1842 when overlapped with the Psat1 gene. my_regions
