Hi,
I was wondering what is the range of SNP density across species and model organisms.
I.e.,
- what'd be a reasonable estimate for the snp density in humans (i.e., x snps for each 1 Kb)?
- what'd be a reasonable estimate for the snp density in humans with the highest variation, aka africans (i.e., x snps for each 1 Kb)?
- what'd be a reasonable estimate for the snp density in flies (i.e., x snps for each 1
- what'd be a reasonable estimate for the snp density in lab mouses (i.e., x snps for each 1
- what'd be a reasonable estimate for the highest snp density in model organisms and which organism that would be?
Thanks!
