Which prokaryotic ab initio gene predictor is the most advised to use nowdays? Are there specific ab initio gene predictors for specifics genera of bacteria?

These days I use Prodigal for ORF prediction, GenePRIMP for curation, and BLAST searches for annotation. All is sort of generic.
