I am trying to identify the tissue-specific cis-regulatory element that provides tissue spasticity. We have identified eight genes that are trichome specific involved in a biochemical pathway. Along with these eight I have also retrieved promoter regions of the other known trichome specific genes available publicly. Hence have the promoter regions of 25 genes that are trichome specific. Now I would like to perform a bioinformatics analysis to identify potential cis-regulatory elements/motifs that provide trichome specificity. Any help on this would be highly appreciated!
