Getting started with bioinformatics

Hi

I have completed by undergraduation in biotechnology and decided to do my masters in bioinformatics. Can you suggest some books or courses I can take to strengthen my basics in bioinformatics.

It depends entirely on what you are interested in for "Bioinformatics". I'm by no means an expert, but in my experience it's an umbrella term for elements of all the elements of IT. You can do statistical programming, sequence analysis, pipeline development, software engineering, etc. pp.

You could take a look at Rosalind, a collection of bioinformatical problems.
