I am a second year student of statistics and recently I look at epigenetic data and all this stuff of microarray and rna-seq data. I have no experience in genomics nor molecular biology and I want to lear more about this topics in order to understand better the data analysis pipeline of most papers and I want recommendations about books, papers or monographs for an introduction for statisticians.

If you google RNA Seq pipeline, or genomics review, a wealth of information comes up. Once you pick up one resource you can branch out to others via the bibliography/reference section and begin to judge what's important and follow your interest. If you also use pubmed to search for papers, you'll get lots associated and suggested papers.
