https://github.com/marbl/canu/issues/329
I have just entered in first step of bioinformatics. And this question is extension of the link above.
I had the same issue of error.
ERROR: mhap overlapper requires java version at least 1.8.0; you have unknown (from 'java'). ERROR: 'java -showversion' reports: ERROR: Failed to run gnuplot from 'gnuplot'.ERROR: Set option gnuplot=<path-to-gnuplot> or gnuplotTested=true to skip this test and not generate plots.
And the answer was...
"Canu can't find either java or gnuplot in the PATH it was supplied with. You can set java= and gnuplot= on the canu command line."
But I have no idea how to edit command line of canu, because I installed it in virtual environment with Anaconda. Will it work if I edit command line of Anaconda?
