Hi Iv downloaded transcriptome data from embl,
problem is the start of the fasta file is not using the locus tag prefix i.e. Cj1511c etc , instead its using i.e. >CAL35617.
Is there a way to change it
An example of how each transcript starts if given below
CAL35617 cdna chromosome:ASM908v1:Chromosome:1446341:1449145:-1 gene:Cj1511c gene_biotype:nontranslating_CDS transcript_biotype:nontranslating_CDS gene_symbol:fdhA description:putative formate dehydrogenase large subunit (Selenocysteine containing)
