Hello world,

I am an undergraduate student in my fourth year in university. I want to further my studies in Bioinformatics after undergraduate graduation. I am coming from a family with low annual income of 0-$5000 per annual .

I am looking forward to a fully funded PhD opportunities to help me achieve my career goals.

Thank you in anticipation for your response.

I know that this is not universally applicable to all countries, but there is nothing special in the United States to go from a BSc degree to PhD. There is no intermediate step required, though one can certainly go through an MS degree.

The rest is a matter of being admitted into a PhD program, as most PhD programs in the United States provide a stipend, a fellowship or something along those lines. It is difficult to guess based on the information provided (a low-income senior from an unnamed country and an unnamed university) whether you would be competitive for North American PhD programs.

I dont know much about other countries, but here in Brazil its very possible (and not rare at all) to go from BSc direct to PhD. What some professors may require is that you have research experience during your undergrad time, not necessarly publishing a paper (but it will help a lot), but more in a sense of beign part of laboratory, demonstrating a good knowledge that makes sense to skip a Master degree for example, get a good recomendadtion from a professor that you worked with, etc
