I'd like to work with biomarker analysis from TCGA cancer data, including procedures like DEGs, WGCNA, and Survival Analysis, among other things. It would be really useful to me if someone could provide me with suitable instructions and tutorials.
These kinds of analysis have been done and published many times before. It is very unlikely that, without prior experience, or even with, you will find something new in TCGA, as this really has been analyzed back and forth so often. Be sure to do a literature survey first, see what questions and markers have already been worked on, and how they do it. PubMed is your companion with that.
ATpoint I completely agree with your suggestion. I've read a lot of articles, but they all just describe the methodology of the analysis, not a detailed step-by-step process. As the beginner, I require proper advice on data preparation and how to proceed.
