peertool to generate covariates file give an error

Hello everyone, I am trying to use peerfactor tool to develop covariates file for my gene_Expression data. But its giving me NA for all the columns. I used this command:

./peertool -f 'gene_exp.csv' -n 45 --has_header -o ./peerout

Has anyone used this tool to generate covariates file and faced this issue and can tell me whether I did something wrong?
