How to use python packages for mixed model while differential testing?

Hello All,

i have used scanpy for preprocessing and clustering the single cell dataset.

I would like to do differential testing using linear mixed model (including random and fixed effect parameters). We can use "MAST","lme4" for such analysis. (Definitely i can also use rpy2 for testing but still looking for other options in python itself)

Is there is any way we can do these models in python packages?
