As an exercise I am trying to analyse the ALL-AML dataset

https://www.kaggle.com/code/rainbowmiha/all-aml-classification/data?select=data_set_ALL_AML_independent.csv

In the column "Gene accession number" are entries like

AB000450_at

When I search genbank nothing is returned. When I search ncbi all databases I get hits in GEO profiles. What are those identifiers and where do they come from?

Those are Affymetrix identifiers. You can find information about them in the data table for the array in question (scroll down until you see the table) : https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/geo/query/acc.cgi?acc=GPL80
