Hi, I am doing my master thesis on performing machine learning for classification of cell types. I performed GSEA on the DESeq2 result and got the relevant information. But, my supervisor is asking me to explain about the package working in detail, especially about the result objects. So, could you please tell me how the p-value, FDR and adjusted p-values are calculated (i.e. a formula) in GSEA? I am using gseGO package from ClusterProfiler package to do my GSEA.

Thanks in advance.

I would recommend reading the GSEA paper and asking specific questions here if you get stuck.
