Python resting state EEG

Hello,

I have to analyse a resting state EEG with two groups (control and experimental) and multiple participants.

I already wrote a script for event related EEG with python earlier and and in my naivety I thought it was comparable and i just could adapt my script for a resting state analysis, what is obviously not possible.

Now Im a little bit lost how to start, because Im not experienced in python. Unfortunately I haven`t found an existing script which roughly fits to my data, to have a guideline what to do.

About my data, it consists of 42 samples in two groups (control and experimental) with pre and post measurements. For every person I have four eyes open and four eyes closed recordings as .edf files. As output I would like to get the PSD and a topo map, ideally something like this graph (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-020-64381-x/figures/1).

If anybody has an idea or a link to an existing script which I could use as guideline i would be very thankful.

Have a nice day :)

I already looked at different existing scripts and saw that often the mne package is used, but its only for a single sample as i understood, so I can`t use it or should I average my data before to use this package?
