I need to calculate the size of each protein,printing the ID and function of the protein (header). I used this code to print the IDs of each protein,

but how can I calculate the size of the proteins if their encodings are separate (explained better in the photo)

(I need to calculate this information between the blue line, the yellow line, but how it's possible to do it, using for loop, range ??????).

I even tried this code above but it didn't work too
