Hi everybody,

I have established correlations between signalling(S) proteins and Body Mass Index (BMI), as well as between target(T) proteins and BMI. Utilizing public databases, I constructed a protein-protein interaction network (signalling-target interaction) for my proteins and determined the weight of each interaction by summing both correlations. Then I did a variance analysis taking the edge weight to identify nodes with the most variable edges. Therefore, I found that nodes with high variance tend to have low degrees. I aim to find a node with both high variance and high degree. Can you suggest any ways I can achieve this?

Thank you.
