Where can I find links to scientific articles connected to trials referenced in the AACT

I am trying to find indications for genes or metabolic routes they are trying to target with an intervention in a particular trial. The titles and short or long descriptions rarely indicate these.

Is there a table that contains a column in the AACT database with the links to articles written about the results of a trial? Or is there an alternate data source that has the links to the articles specifically?

it might be too sparse to go from clinical trial to papers. generally I think you would go from

clinical trial -> compound -> patent -> mechanism of action -> gene

or maybe

clinical trial -> compound -> papers -> gene

going from clinical trial to a named compound in aact is bad enough - there are nearly 300k clinical trials and they can only map ~4700 to PubChem identifiers

to go from compound to MoA I would try DrugBank, which is quite good and has a reasonable fee structure

to go from compound to patent you could try lens, which is good for both patents and pubs
