Hi, I'm trying to get height prediction values from Yengo 2022 paper (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-022-05275-y). I downloaded the PGS weights from https://www.joelhirschhornlab.org/giant-consortium-results, which has SNPs and their weights. But, I don't see any formula to derived predicted heights with these weights. Anyone could illuminate on this?

This is the paper if you want to do PRS analysis: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41596-020-0353-1

You don't really get a "predicted" height per-sec, rather, you get a score that has correlates with the height. With the provided weights, you can directly use plink --score to generate the polygenic score, but most likely they won't look like height (e.g. mean 170 in male and 160 in female etc).

Thanks. Is it linear, as in height = score * (some factor) + (some factor)?
