Given the downloadable file for coverage in gnomAD, what do values in the total_DP column represent? I understand it refers to depth, but is this referring to the number of reads across a certain number of samples, or number of individuals sampled? For example, if a nucleotide position is sequenced for 100 samples, perhaps 30 times across 100 samples, would DP be 30 or 100? Also, would there be a way to identify the number of samples sequenced for a given nucleotide position if it is the former.
