Deconvolution: bulk and cell signature data from different platforms or technologies

I am using CIBERSORT to infer cellular compositions in bulk RNASeq count data that is assayed from human skin. Does anyone have suggestions for the following questions? Thank you in advance.

  1. If my cell signature data is from Microarray assays. Is it necessary to normalize/pre-process the bulk and signature data before deconvolution? If so, what methods can I use?

  2. Is there a database that stores signature data of cell types in various tissues?
