SAMstat mapping quality report MAPQ gt vs MAPQ lt

I'm using SAMstat to compare different sequencing conditions and in the report it categorizes the mapping quality of the reads by MAPQ gt 30, MAPQ lt 30 and MAPQ lt 10. I understand that a quality of MAPQ 30 is an error rate of 0.001, but I can't find what the gt and lt are refering to.
