I'm new into genetics and programming in general, I'm running some mendelian randomizations in R using a particular package that requires a reference human genome in binary plink files (.bim, .fam, .bed), i have found one to download, but its the hg38 build and I need the hg37, however, I did not found anywhere to donwload or a walkthrough on how to make one, I've tried to creating one using the vcf files from NCBI and plink 2.0, bu when I tried to create the bplink files, an error occurs saying that I dont have the p-values in order to proceed, and that threw me off. I dont know if anyone here can help me with that, or if even understanted my problem, but I hope someone does, I dont have anyone that can help me with that, that is why i'm posting this here. thanks in advance if anyone reads this and try to help me out.
