I have a set of gene trees consisting of a number of taxa. I'm interested in using those gene trees to infer a phylogenetic tree. What are some of the known methods which could be used to accomplish this task?

There are many different approaches to estimating species trees from gene trees. Depending on the scale of your problem, and how deep you want to get into it, you could look at STEM, ASTRAL or BUCKy.
