Penn State World Campus is now accepting applications for summer 2015. The 11-credit online graduate certificate program provides a highly relevant and dynamic curriculum that focuses on the applied nature and practical aspects of bioinformatics. Application materials for summer 2015 must be received by May 10, 2015.
This summer's course, Applied Bioinformatics (BMMB 852), provides a foundation for students with biology backgrounds in the computational analysis and interpretation of biological data.
Future courses include: Genomics (BMMB 551), Foundations in Data Driven Life Sciences (BMMB 554), and Statistical Analysis of Genomics Data (STAT 555).
You should be able to complete the Applied Bioinformatics online graduate certificate program in about one year. These courses are structured for asynchronous learning, giving you the flexibility to complete assignments at your own pace.
