Job Responsibilities

- Bioinformatic and statistical analysis of genomic, transcriptomic, metabolomic and proteomic datasets.
- Integration of the above -omics datasets to improve our understanding, and aid engineering of the selected microbial host.
- Liaise within a multi-disciplinary team of scientists, presenting, reviewing and appraising results.
Qualifications
Requirements
- PhD Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or a related field.
- Excellent analytical thinking skills and a solid foundation in biological data analysis, microbial physiology and biochemistry.
- Expertise in applying bioinformatics and statistical tools to analyse, interpret and disseminate knowledge gained from a wide range of high-throughput biological data either independently or integratively.
- Experience in the visual presentation of biological data from high-throughput experiments and other sources to non-bioinformatics audiences.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment, both independently and as part of a team setting.
