I was reading this paper by Anderson et al., 2010 (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21085122). I know what SNPs is very well, but I have been having difficulty understanding what marker is. Could someone please clarify the differences between marker, biomarker and SNPs? I have looked everywhere on the the web to understand it, but could not find satisfying answers. Thanks
