Hi guys, I recently finished annotating my sequences with B2G. Now I'm trying to export all my sequences with gene names and gene symbols to a fasta file. I found B2G assigned a gene name to each of my sequences. Names assigned by B2G look like these: falcon anemia group d2 partial, phosphoinositide 3-kinase regulatory subunit 4, beta-adducing isoform x1 and so on. My questions are:

  1. Does B2G assign gene names and GO terms using the same Annotation Rule mentioned in the instruction book?
  2. Is there a way in B2G to assign gene symbols instead of full names to my sequences?
