Actually I have a very large gene set of worm and I am trying to homologue it to human or mouse. I know already two online web base that do this but they are not working well and probably not anymore used or updated.

Any suggestion? if you have any solution with any programming language , please share

Thanks

You can use ensembl api (link above) that explains in detail how to install the api and also has multiple examples of various methods integrated in ensembl api. You can also check out EBI website for the video tutorials.

@Sej Mocha thanks I checked it out, this is definitely a pain and it is absolutely not user friendly and more importantly out of date , over 5 years no one touch this !!! how can I trust the annotation ?

Did you know that Ensembl databases are updated regularly up to 4 times a year. New annotations and genome builds are added/updated in each release. It is a really useful resource. Check out the latest release - July 2016
