I wanted to trimm by using trimglore but I'm doing something wrong and it doesn't work. this is my script:

/home/weronika/Downloads/trim_galore_v0.4.2/trim_galore --illumina -q 20 -e 0.2 -length 43 -phred33 /home/weronika/Downloads/cfDNA/Project_Weronika/Sample_205/205_CCGTCC_L004_R1_001.fastq -o /home/weronika/Downloads/cfDNA/Project_Weronika/trimgalor/205_CCGTCC_L004_R1_001.fastq

and I get the answer Path to Cutadapt set as: 'cutadapt' (default) 1.11 Cutadapt seems to be working fine (tested command 'cutadapt --version') Failed to write to file '205_CCGTCC_L004_R1_001.fastq_trimming_report.txt': No such file or directory

I really don't know what to do. Please help me. ruda2811 is online now Report Post Edit/Delete Message

-o option should be a directory, not a file. The option can be omitted, in which case the current directory will be used.
