I am new in plink analysis, I have a data from chip 50k for sheep and I want to know how can I make a .PED and .MAP file from CSV file.?
Have a look at the format of a PED file and MAP file (which you can find on the plink website) and decide how to convert your CSV file. As we don't know the structure of your data file we cannot help you convert it.
In addition, if you show some effort from your side first and show us what you tried (and didn't work) you'll more likely get help.
Hi, thanks WouterDeCoster. My text file that has the potential to be converted to Excel. Is it possible that in Plink convert Excel files to Pad, and map? If yes. What orders? My file is included : SNP Chip ID,Animal ID,Paternal ID,Maternal ID,Breed,Phenotype,YOB,Sex
