Posting Summary

A postdoctoral position is available at the Center for Integrative Proteomics Research (http://public.proteomics.rutgers.edu), at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey (https://www.rutgers.edu). The project involves the study and analysis of Protein-Nucleic Acid complexes in the Protein Data Bank (PDB, http://www.rcsb.org/) and the Nucleic Acid Database (NDB, http://ndbserver.rutgers.edu). The goal of the project is to characterize and classify Protein-Nucleic Acid interfaces from the perspective of structural, functional and biophysical properties. This involves development of automated workflows to select and extract data from the PDB and the NDB, compute a variety of characteristics of Protein-Nucleic Acid interfaces and further classify and cluster these complexes using state-of-the-art machine learning techniques.

The position is available for a period of two years and can be extended based on performance and availability of funds.
